“What’s the Best that Could Happen?”

Too often people consider all the worst case scenarios of taking a risk (it’s called a risk for a reason after all). But, what if we flipped the question and asked ourselves what’s the best that could happen in our career decisions? Would we stick with the “safe” job or take more risks to pursue our passions? Would we discover more success and fulfillment?

As I reflect on nine years running glee, I’m glad I chose to consider the benefits of building my own brand, but I couldn’t have imagine all the “bests” that would come along with it. The biggest “best” is the network of people I’ve met and the array of challenges I’ve had a hand in solving. No two days have ever been the same. Building a career that taps into my creativity never gets boring. I can’t imagine doing anything different, but I definitely plan to keep doing more.

Happy nine years to glee!
